We are about to publish our first sustainability report. What did we do? We zoomed out and connected tmc as employer and as a company to the global trends and challenges. We’ve made an impact assessment map and have broken down the megatrends and UN’s sustainability goals to our working level, to see how and where we take our part.

Together, we work towards a diverse, green and fair world – the sustainability report is our guide and roadmap. In an ever-more complex world, it is important for us to know where we stand and what we stand for. Look out for the second part of our series on “connecting tmc to global megatrends”.

During the presentation of our report Jochen Nowotny, CEO of tmc expressed that “we believe that we can all be part of the solution as we each have obligations toward society. Our goal is to outline tmc’s contributions to making transport more sustainable.” We believe that sustainable growth is a realistic destination for our economic sector and profession. The key is to characterize and face the market’s changeability to effectuate our adaptability to the future by keeping up our daily practices – innovative research, clear customer communication and or “great 8” moral code.
